Ranking update week 3 and progress towards achieving 8,000 steps per day

Dear WC Participants,

This is the WC Operations Office.
November is already halfway through—time moves quickly.
How is your progress toward the 8,000-step goal?

As of today, only 27.5% of participants are averaging 8,000 steps per day.
A bit lower than hoped.

Some participants have not yet entered their step counts.
However, evidence suggests that recording and reviewing your daily steps can itself help increase physical activity.
If you have not checked your data—or if you enter your steps manually—take a moment to do so.

Today, the third ranking update has been released.

Hyogo Medical University (Kobe Campus) has taken the top position,
followed by Sanyo-Onoda City Yamaguchi Tokyo University of Science in second place.
Nippon Institute of Technology / Fukuoka Institute of Technology and Akita University Health Service Center are also maintaining averages above 8,000 steps.
We can clearly see that participants across universities and organizations are increasing their activity.
